Accessibility statement

Our commitment

We aim for level AA of the WCAG 2.2 guidelines as a technical target. We do not claim conformance with that level: such a claim requires a full evaluation that has not been carried out yet.

What is already in place

The following was verified while the site was being built.

• A “Skip to main content” link placed first, visible as soon as it receives focus.
• Page landmarks: header, navigation, main content and footer.
• All navigation works with a keyboard. The Escape key closes the menu and the services list and returns focus to the button that opened them.
• A visible focus outline everywhere, which changes colour on dark backgrounds so it stays legible.
• The current page is marked with a current-page attribute and an underline, not by colour alone.
• Every form field has a visible, linked label. Required fields are marked with the word “required”, not only in red.
• Form errors appear in a summary that receives focus, are linked to their field and come with explanatory text.
• Contrast ratios were calculated. The orange button uses dark purple text at 7.58 to 1; body text is at 12.82 to 1 on white.
• Images that carry information have alternative text; purely decorative images have none.
• The layout adapts from 320 pixels to a large screen without horizontal scrolling.
• Animations and the background video are switched off when your system asks for reduced motion.

Known limitations

No external evaluation and no testing with screen reader users has been carried out yet.

The photographs come from the existing site; their alternative text describes what is visible, but has not been reviewed by the company.

External documents the site links to are outside the scope of this statement.

Evaluation method

The points above were checked manually during construction: keyboard navigation, reading the heading structure, calculating contrast ratios, and testing at widths of 320, 390, 768, 1024 and 1440 pixels.

The date of the next evaluation will be stated here once it is scheduled.
